Dance Expression

A 3 year old establishment, Dance Expression, Markham’s only Bollywood and Hip Hop Dance Studio was facing an issue of online brand presence as well as client retention. They needed a results-driven solution that created brand awareness and sparked interest bringing in new clients while retaining existing ones.

Through a rapidly growing Toronto community of diverse backgrounds, the dance community was getting heavily saturated with a lot of new and young talent who were creating a lot of dance content; Bollywood and Hip Hop styles. Unfortunately, Dance Expression was not able to break through and stay consistent with relevant industry trends, in turn not posting on their social media platforms.

Therefore, this presented a new opportunity to explore new marketing strategies, resulting in reverting back to traditional marketing with Public Relations. This approach helped Dance Expression enter and explore a whole new market through news and media channels such as CP24 and CTV News.

  4. Explore various dance styles and Indian culture

Wireframing 

Dance Expression needed an expert in marketing, specifically public relations who can pitch real, authentic and mind capturing dance stories relating to culture and diversity in Toronto. Upon this journey, scouting the best and relevant media outlets and news channels was key. Moving forward and connecting with various anchors, journalists and reporters was very important, but building a strong relationship with them was even more important.

  2. Research relevant media outlets and news channels
  3. Understand what stories they were interested in
  4. Find out what the market and news was looking for
  5. Put together marketing materials
  6. Explore what the Indian culture is and has brought to Toronto
  7. How the culture has an impact on dance in Toronto
  8. How dance is expanding and growing in Toronto
  9. How Dance Expression caters and introduces various fusions and styles

Conceptualization

We wanted to add another channel of marketing that would enhance and take Dance Expression to another level; more credible and captivating. In addition, branding in front of a large live audience is very fragile and risky as what is spoken, presented or displayed on TV all represents, promotes and impacts the brand either positively or negatively.

From a brand and company perspective, creating an external advertising campaign for the company was very important as many of their clients are parents and young families with small children. These families are still watching the news and media the traditional way; TV. Setting forth the right marketing efforts, Dance Expression is able to reach their target audiences creating brand awareness and rapport amongst clients and prospects; generating leads.

Bringing it all together

The revamped strategy set forth is promised to drive clients, engagement and build brand awareness. Aside from implementing the strategy, we are always looking for areas of growth and improvement and consistently analyzing and measuring the marketing initiatives and efforts.

Ongoing Optimization

With the approach in place, we have begun testing and monitoring the results and outcome. We have noticed that not only are we getting a response from various news and media channels, but Dance Expression has also generated leads. Many prospects and community members have reached out and noticed Dance Expression live on TV.

 

Talent Inc. Canada

Social Media Ad Management

Starting in the US, Talent Inc. has been established and well known worldwide. It has been around for decades and franchised. The Canadian division of Talent Inc., Talent Inc. Canada is Toronto’s Film and Television industry’s leading acting and theatre school.

They needed an ongoing results-driven solution that created brand awareness and sparked interest bringing in new clients while retaining existing ones. Through a rapidly growing Toronto community of diverse backgrounds, the film and television community is getting popular and competitive with a lot of new and young talent. These creatives and performers are attending a lot of schools and academies to further enhance their skill set. 

Unfortunately today, Talent Inc. is not the only school providing training and education in the Toronto film scene. There are a lot of new schools, trainers and actors providing services. Therefore, this presented a new opportunity to explore new marketing strategies online.

Wireframing 

Talent Inc. Canada needed a digital marketing strategist to discover who their target market was, and what peaked their interest in film and television; acting and performing classes.

This allowed us to be able to really dive into the various classes Talent Inc. was offering.

First we had to

  2. Understand what stories they were interested in
  3. Find out what the market was looking for
  4. Put together marketing materials
  5. How the film and television industry is expanding and growing in Toronto

Conceptualization

We wanted to really create a strong social media presence for Talent Inc. Canada. From a brand and company perspective, creating an online presence for the company was very important, as many of their clients are on social media.

While creating strategies, we decided to advertise success stories from Talent Inc. Canada to really promote and advertise the school. This not only created company awareness but also trust and rapport amongst clients and prospects; actors and performers, eventually generating leads. It showcased what the school was doing and how successful they were at training actors to become great enough to book auditions and jobs. This is the end goal of many aspiring actors and onscreen performers.

Setting forth the right message, testimonials and success stories was important to make the audience connect while remaining different from its competitors. in turn closing deals. 

Bringing it all together

The revamped strategy set forth is promised to drive clients, engagement and build a social media following considering the work is being done consistently. Aside from implementing the strategy, we are always on top of what is going on, always looking for areas of growth and improvement and consistently analyzing the efforts.

With the strategy launched, we have begun testing the client’s reaction and engagement to the strategy. We explored that not only is the following increasing on social media, but the clients are engaging with the content created.
